I have made my first landing in calgary and completed initial formalities , like PR , bank account , cr card, SIN, etc in nov 2009 and am planning to return permanantly by May 2010. Now am in UAE. 
i have few quaries , kindly help. 
a) I am having  Abu Dhabi - UAE license issued in 2000. what is the procedure to get a alberta license thru  UAE license. 

 b)if I took a international licence from uae before i am leaving , can i drive in alberta right away and the validity period ? the validity period starts from the date of issue or after landing ?
